Responsibilities:
Follow ITIL process to manage Alerts and Incidents; provide remote support for Syntax AWS Managed Services clients via all channels (Help Desk, phone, email), adhering to SLA guidelines and providing thorough and timely communication
Configure and maintain basic AWS services (VCP, EC2, RDS, S3…)
Perform basic tasks in OS level (Linux and Windows) - patching, upgrades, installations, volume partitioning
Run custom scripts and automations
Perform ongoing upgrades and patching
AWS resource deployment and optimization, as directed/requested
Assist with root cause and failure analysis to resolve systems problems

Requirements
Qualifications:
1+ years experience is in any Cloud or Virtual technology
AWS experience with basic services (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3…)
Working knowledge of Windows/Linux system, supporting and troubleshooting stability and performance issues; storage and network experience
Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare/Hyper-V or any Cloud technology)
Knowledgeable in core network services including DHCP, DNS, IP routing, load balancing
Experience with storage configuration and management
Experience reading, writing, or modifying PowerShell and Bash scripts, or Phyton code
Experience using Git
Experience with any ITIL process and tools, for Incident and Problem management
English language
