DevOps for Cloud Project

The project aims to extend the present portfolio with a new platform for building and integrating business applications. The key strategy in the evolution of products will require candidates to drive innovation by using technologies and approaches such as process automation, artificial intelligence, IoT and cloud/edge computing.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Accountability level

• Consult and implement Cloud based technologies on different established platforms (Azure,Amazon, Oracle etc.) and to satisfy innovation strategy.

• Provide overall solutions and principles in planning, developing and implementing publiccloud products to satisfy the business requirements.

• Design, develop, and implement architecture of cloud services.

• Build and develop concepts, processes and methods for optimization and standardizationand automation requirements.

• Act as a mentor to team to fulfill project scope, coach developers to spread knowledge levelin the team and develop their skills.

• Act as key technical expert and coordinate activities across related technologies.

Personality requirements and skills for the employee

Education

• University degree (minimum Bachelor), specialization in software development.

• English – Intermediate

• Specialization in software development

Experience

• technical overview in related fields,

• at least 3+ years working experience on similar position,

• hands-on experience working as a DevOps Build & Test & Release Engineer ideally with

• Microsoft-based net applications,

• strong knowledge of one of those programming languages C#, JAVA, Delphi, C/C++ orother,

• strong knowledge of TFS or VSTS or JIRA or Azure DevOps and MS Build,

• experience with QA tools (Selenium, Veracode, Sonar, FxCop or other),

• demonstrated knowledge and skill using scripting languages (YAML, Node.js, PowerShell,etc.)

• general Networking, Backup & Restore overview,

• knowledge of Windows, UNIX/LINUX systems,

• proven experience with virtualization and containerization,

• general maintenance knowledge of T-SQL/PL-SQL, non-SQL databases,

• knowledge of Middleware (Apache, IIS, SunONE, Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic),

• proven experience in Public Cloud technologies,

• be passionate about automation
