Within the company, we have created a community called Go Guild. It is made up of people across teams that are at least marginally interested in Go. Here we share knowledge, best practices, common code reviews, and mistakes we have learned from - just about Go. We are currently considering providing some of our tools/utilities as open source. Our goal is not only to create a community for Betsys, but also to build a Go community in the Czech Republic and, finally, to host GopherCon CZ.


Initially, you will run into smaller tasks, especially UNIT tests, to touch on how we write Go here and how our applications work. Together with other developers, you will develop current applications - you will participate in expanding their functionalities so that the performance requirements are maintained. You will also design and write new applications with an emphasis on performance, multi-thread optimization, stability, and monitoring up to production deployment. You will receive feedback on everything, whether in terms of code or communication. We also expect feedback from you.

  • At least a year of experience developing multi-thread production code in Go
  • Understand competition and its patterns (fan-out, producer-consumer, etc.) and be able to use them in Go
  • Optimize Go applications for performance (profiling, tracing)
  • Write readable and maintainable code - SOLID, DDD, Hexagonal (Clean) Architecture
  • Write automatic tests
  • Communicate with the team, pass on your experience to other colleagues
  • Interest in SW architecture
  • Experience contributing to open source
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes or another method of orchestration
  • Experience with various tests and their use (UNIT, functional, system, penetration, stress, benchmark, etc.)
