Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer (m/f/d) you will be jointly responsible for the availability and security of the data center and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptual (further) development, planning and administration of
  • Data centre infrastructures LAN (Cisco ACI), WAN, SD-WAN)
  • Network security, firewall solutions from Cisco and Fortinet
  • Proxy / Reverse Proxy Lösungen von Cisco und Citrix ADC NetScaler
• Ensuring maximum availability and network security
• Creation of documentation, work instructions and network plans
• Contact person for internal and external project and application managers and technicians
• Planning, coordination and implementation of system installations
• Second & third level support of pre-qualified fault reports in the area of routers/switches and firewalls
• Participation in the on-call duty

• Very good knowledge around network security and routing as well as switching in SDN Cisco ACI
• Excellent knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet firewall solutions
• Good knowledge and experience with common routing protocols
• Ideally manufacturer certification (e.g., CCNP)
• Desirable know-how of the Citrix ADC NetScaler & Cisco WSA solution
• ITIL Know-how
• Distinct technical understanding, independent working style and high service performance
• Very good English skills, German language is a big advantage
