Python Automation Developer

Responsibilities 

• Deploys compute, network and storage infrastructure across private (VMWare/Ovirt) and public (AWS/Azure/OCI) clouds using Terraform and Ansible

• Manages OS and configuration state using Saltstack

• Builds multi cloud solutions on top of Saltstack based configuration management system including infrastructure discovery and auditing

• Extends open-source tooling by writing module extensions in Python

• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.

• Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Cloud Native Infrastructure Architect Qualifications/Skills:

• Linux or Windows system administration (both ideal) 

• Experience with at least one automation or configuration management system; Ansible, Terraform or Saltstack 

• Proficient Python: 

• System administration task scripting

• Simple programs 

• Docker/containers

• Communications skills
