Job description, responsibilities and duties:
SA & HM Engineering Activity:
implementing designs and concepts from the architecture level in the area of monitoring and service assurance
creation of design proposals and Proof of Concepts in the area of monitoring and service assurance
low-level troubleshooting on system and application level
creation and implementation of automation workflows
application/system research and reverse engineering of open source projects or enterprise solutions in a given area
designing of data pipelines
Technical Management:
the bridge between operation team and technical architecture
subtask distribution and tracking towards operation team
regular reporting on given tasks
Collaboration:
the entry point for advanced bugs, issues and functional enhancements
follow up meetings and negotiations
support for operation team
technical training for engineering and operation teams
calls with vendor counterparts if required by technology and contract
Release Management:
CI/CD contributor
4 eyes reviewer
End to End Delivery:
technical handovers
LLD documentation as the outcome of given tasks
working independently with high technical intuition
subtasks completion and delivery
Vendor contact:
creation of vendor tickets for advanced and complex issues, bugs, clarifications
Design and develop test cases, perform regression tests, maintain the test suites, validate new features & troubleshoot automated network services, service orchestration and SD-WAN related features
Understand requirements, scope the effort needed for validating the features, translate use cases into a test plan
Execute test cases, debug, investigate and track issues
Work with automation engineers to transfer the knowledge and discuss steps needed for automation test cases
Contribute to the test and release plan, collaborate with test automation engineers
Help to create network assessment documentation including workflows

Requirements
Requirements:
Successfully completed university degree in CS or a similar subject with 3+ years of working experience
Experience with one or more opensource and enterprise monitoring tools, profound in java/javascript, ansible or other automation wofklow, system scripting/automation, Linux administration, git versioning, networking knowledge on CCNA level, skilled at least in one of the technologies: Kafka, Elastic, StreamSets, Logstash, Moog.
You're proactive, able to work independently and possess the flexibility to act convincingly within agile structures
Windows administration, python basics, experience with ServiceNow, GitLab, Docker, data engineering and analytics
Creating documentation and communicating fluently in English is no problem for you
Knowledge in area of monitoring or service assurance, familiar with capacity management, skilled in system management and system administration incl. troubleshooting, cooperation with vendors or public community, self-reliant, oneself presentation
